OUTPATIENT SERVICES: The Outpatient program specializes in treating families and children coping with:
  

Graydon Manor Outpatient Services

  • School refusal and truancy

  • Child rearing concerns

  • Divorce/separation/custody issues

  • Death of a loved one

  • Difficulties with social skills and/or making friends

  • Emotional, physical, or sexual abuse

  • Adoption of special needs children

  • Substance abuse

  • Depression

  • Self-esteem problems

 

Psychiatric assessments and medication management are provided by our staff psychiatrist. Individuals, families and specialized groups are treated by highly qualified therapists. Family therapy, neuropsychological assessments, individual counseling, group therapy, evaluations, and couples counseling are services offered. The department’s professionals also support community groups with educational programs throughout the year.

Graydon Manor's Outpatient Department contracts with the following insurance companies: 1) MAMSI (O/C, MD/IPA, and MLH), 2) UBH, 3) Virginia Medicaid, 4) Anthem / BCBS, and 5) Kaiser.

The outpatient program is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO), licensed by the Virginia Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation, and Substance Abuse Services and is an approved provider for Virginia Medicaid.
