
IOP services would benefit the following community members:
• Adolescents recovering from severe behavioral health conditions
• Adolescents with chronic behavioral health conditions
• Adolescents with suspected alcohol or drug abuse conditions in addition to behavioral health conditions
• Adolescents with confirmed alcohol or drug abuse conditions in addition to behavioral health conditions
Each week includes group therapy, an individual therapy session, and a psychiatric medication management appointment (if needed).
Families are actively involved in treatment twice each week in a family therapy session, and a multifamily group.
The program is based on learning and practicing anger management and stress management skills. Dialectical Behavioral Skills are
taught and experienced so that clients learn how to effectively cope with negative moods and uncomfortable emotions. Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy is used throughout the program to address a participants identified needs and help them meet their treatment
goals.
FEES
Fees are reimbursed primarily through private insurance plans or public agency funding. Private pay clients, without insurance, have
fees set on a sliding scale, and are based on family income, family size and ability to pay.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE
The Adolescent IOP meets 3 hours per day, 3 days per week. Maximum clients per week = 15 Staff Ratio: 1 staff per 5 clients
TRANSPORTATION
Van transportation from school is available at an additional charge. There is limited availability for this service and fees may change
according to gas prices. Call for reservations. Parents are responsible for pick-up daily.

COORDINATION OF TREATMENT
Many clients are involved in receiving additional services such as school counseling, probation, or working with other health care
providers. We coordinate services and strive to collaborate effectively with providers of such services.

Intensive Outpatient Program at Graydon Manor
DESCRIPTION
The Graydon Manor Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program treats adolescents (ages12-17) who
are in need of treatment and support due to a psychiatric condition (including dual diagnosis
clients) that is interfering with their ability to function successfully within the community, at home, or
school.
